"There is just enough wood influence to notice on the restrained nose of earthy and quite cool dark currant aromas that display background notes of humus and a hint of the sauvage. There is an equally restrained mouth feel to the textured, intense and delicious medium weight flavors that culminate in a moderately austere but wonderfully long, firm and built-to-age finish where once again the wood treatment reappears. This is also terrific though note that this will very definitely require plenty of patience."
