"A softly floral nose of cool spice, plum and dark cherry scents is trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is fine volume and intensity to the solidly concentrated, muscular and mineral-driven broad-shouldered flavors culminate in a lingering and palate coating finish that is robust but not rustic. The supporting structure is notably firmer compared to the Chambolle 1er and this would best be left in the cellar for a while as the good reappears on the finish and needs time to more fully integrate."
