While the reduction isn't strong it's enough to suppress the underlying fruit at present so if you're tempted to try a bottle young I would advise decanting it for an hour first. Otherwise the mouth feel of the medium-bodied flavors is noticeably finer with more prominent minerality as well on the moderately austere and mouth coating finish that delivers excellent length. This mildly woody effort is quite firmly structured and in contrast to the villages level wines in the range this will require at least 6 to 8 years of bottle age before it's approachable.
